RADIOLOGIST FOR WESTERN SYDNEY LOCATION
Challis Recruitment is currently recruiting a Radiologist who has interest in joining our client, Western Imaging Group (or more commonly known as WIG). WIG is one of the most progressive and dynamic practices in Australia.
It offers all services to the highest skill level and is renowned for its quality, service and technology leadership. It continues to grow and reinvest into new equipment with a dedicated Women’s Imaging centre, Spinal EOS, latest 3T MRI and education and development of its Radiologists.
In terms of orthopaedic/musculoskeletal and spinal work, with the introduction of the EOS it sets new standards for diagnosis in these fields. With the forthcoming new 3T MRI Western Imaging will be the only provider in the country providing both positional imaging with Upright MRI and 3T imaging for patients, including those with claustrophobia. Western Imaging has a stand alone Women’s Imaging centre with breast tomosynthesis, ultrasound and daily biopsy service.
It has always sought to set benchmark standards of service delivery with high quality of care through continuing education of its staff, new standards, particularly in minimally invasive interventional work by offering virtually all forms of injections and biopsies on a daily basis. It has the only true Upright MRI in Australia which allows positional MRI imaging, categorically shown to be advantageous in diagnosis and treatment. It continues to work with the leading Clinicians in Cardiology, and has a specialised cardiac service, Orthopaedics, Spinal surgery, Neurology and Womens Imaging.
The staff development is supported by strong links to one of the largest Public Hospital Radiology departments in Australia offering the potential for rotation and exposure to support the continued and ongoing education of high quality staff and reinvest back into the community.
In the forthcoming years Western Imaging will build on all these foundations and particularly in the above fields and for job satisfaction, growth and to be part of a team whereby the intimacy of private practice is maintained yet all modalities offered.

THE ROLE
The Radiologist will be fast, efficient and produce accurate reporting of all Radiology modalities (including x-rays, ultrasounds, CT, MRI, DXA, Mammograms etc.).
As a member of this team you will be working within this fast paced environment, adhering to patient report turnaround times, provide excellent patient care/service skills, be committed to continuing education and skill advancement.
As an independent radiology practice, and not a multinational company the Radiologist will be provided with on-the-job support from the owner and head Radiologist, ensuring maximum job assistance and satisfaction.
